The Surgical Services Department at Providence Memorial Hospital in El Paso is comprised is of two operating room areas: Main Surgery located on the ground floor in the Young Tower and Day Surgery also located on the ground floor in the Hilton Tower. These departments provide a full spectrum of surgical care to patients of all ages undergoing an operative or diagnostic procedure with or without anesthesia.
Providence Memorial Hospital's surgery department delivers state-of-the-art technology for all types of urological procedures including prostate surgery, bladder surgery, removal of stones in the kidneys, bladder and ureters.
There is also a recovery room area for each of the surgical areas. An RN provides monitoring and care of these post-anesthesia/surgical patients. The patient will be discharged from the recovery room to the floor or home.
